This tea named for the location of the tea garden and its distinct needle-like style, celebrated since China's Tung Dynasty (618-907 AD) as a royal tribute tea. This pre-Qing Ming harvest, with leaves in semi-bud form, is still recognized as one of China's ten finest green teas. Cool and refreshing, yet warm and flavorful with chestnut-y notes, this tea will yield 2-3 infusions.
