A fine black tea developed from a varietal traditionally used to produce Wuji Mountain Oolongs. By taking the same cultivar and crafting it into a superb black tea, a truly unique taste-profile emerges described in the name–Mei which means plum and Zhan which alludes to the volatile nature of the aroma. Even after the infused tea has cooled to room temperature the plum-like flavor continues to pamper the palate.
