This is a green tea from the northern slope of Mt. Tianmu. When steeped the leaves take on an almost white, jade-like transparency marked by a distinct darker central vein. From a relatively new Camellia strain, this spring harvest displays all the qualities of a historic Tribute tea. The exceptional taste profile is due in part to careful plucking and repeated hand sorting. (Each pound consists of approximately 30,000 budsets!). Refreshing and smooth with a rich mouthfeel and lingering pleasant aftertaste, this tea will yield a second infusion.
