At elevations of 8.000 feet nestled among the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, tea gardens still thrive, including this one. However, harvesting along side steep slopes is difficult and the yield limited due to thinner air and cooler temperatures. At the same time, slow maturing increases leaf-quality, which results in richer aroma, superior muscatel flavor and a matchless, smooth aftertaste.
